Arena Improvements ( completed 1996 )

• New rubber matting has been placed in all the team rooms, hallways and player's benches
• The ceiling of the Arena has been cleaned and painted
• All of the lights have been replaced, creating a very bright floor surface
• A consultant has been hired to review the sound system and improve the sound quality for all of our events
• New doors have been installed to better control air temperature
• A new dehumidification system has been installed
• Many of the Arena boards have been replaced
• The dressing rooms and showers have been upgraded
• All new brighter lights have been installed in the parking lot

Transit Parking

• Major Metro Transit depot located at the end of the Sportsplex parking lot, making for easy access from all areas of Halifax Regional Municipality
• Close proximity to parking for 800 cars

Meals

• The New Wave Cafe is located on the Spectator level of the Dartmouth Sportsplex and is open from 7:00am - 9:30pm, seven days/week. The Cafe features both hot and cold meals and offers daily specials. The Dartmouth Sportsplex has an exclusive catering contract with the operators of the Cafe and all catering must be ordered through them. No food or beverages can be brought into the Sportsplex without the written permission of Bluenose Vending.
